Balsam Lake is a 1901 acre lake located in Polk County. It has a maximum depth of 37 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.
The Village is nestled on the largest lake in the area (2,054 acres), which is teeming with fish to satisfy the most avid of anglers. The unique shoreline stretches 65 miles and the lake is dotted with picturesque islands and bays. Fine dining and casual eateries abound and over 50 businesses provide a vast array of services. In fact, in addition to being a renowned tourist destination, a well-situated industrial/business park awaits further development and offers sites that are second to none, with existing infrastructure.
